After months of designing, sampling, and testing, we've created a mesmerizing pin that's as satisfying to fidget with as it is beautiful to wear. The Earth and backing plate stays firmly put, while the comet spins freely.

It takes 75 years for Halley's Comet to return, but don't wait for your chance to collect this Limited Edition pin! Only 10,000 of each pin will ever be made and each one is individually numbered.

I love it. A bit heavy, but it is a big pin secured by two clasps instead of the usual one. It’s great. I love the spinning action. Can’t wait until I can see it for real in 2061. For now, this more than makes up for it.

One of the most beuatiful pins Kurzgesagt have made. I knew I had to have it the moment I saw it. It's so so pretty!
I only have one issue with it - the front (Earth) disk is not mounted parallel to the back one. It's tilted at an angle, which causes it to touch the middle (Comet) disk. Obviously there's some wiggle room but you have to be careful how you spin it, or scratches will appear in no time. It's present with both pins I received.
On the other hand, I believe the white metal colour is a more appropriate choice for a spinning pin which is expected to see some hand action. Should hold better than the gold plating. My Determinator 3000, in comparison, is definitely paler today than it was brand new.

Honestly, I regret buying this a little. Not for any product complaint, but I just think I made a bit of an impulse purchase. Overall, the quality is amazing and it is really is quite the cool pin to have. TO IMPROVE THIS I WOULD SAY THAT IT NEEDS THE DETAILS LIKE THE LIMITED EDITION NUMBER AND THE NAME OF « HALLEY’S » COMET ON THE ACTUAL PIN ITSELF, BECAUSE RIGHT NOW I DONT EVEN WANT TO TOUCH IT AND RISK MAKING IT LESS VALUABLE. I would rather it felt more like a « usable pin » than a collectors item. Thanks!

I'd buy more of these fidget pins. Metal is well cast, the spin is smooth and holds a bit of momentum without spinning for a long time, the colors are nicely vibrant and stand out well in various light conditions. My only critique would be that it rattles quite easily.
I hope they do more runs with other designs.
